Bokning

Booking & Cancellation

These booking rules and conditions apply regardless of whether the booking was made on Bokadirekt.se, by phone, or on-site. All treatments at our clinic—except massage, foot care, and makeup—require the client to be at least 18 years of age. Some treatments may be performed on individuals aged 16 or older with a legal guardian personally present at the first session and with written consent thereafter. If unsure, please contact us for more information.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You can reschedule or cancel your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Your booking becomes binding 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations up to 24 hours before can be made on Bokadirekt.se using the cancellation code in your confirmation email. Alternatively, cancellations or rescheduling can be made by phone at 0760 53 68 33, provided the call is answered. A voicemail is not considered a valid cancellation. When fewer than 24 hours remain before your appointment, changes can only be made by phone. A late cancellation fee may apply (see below).

LATENESS & USED TIME

Please avoid arriving late. Your appointment is considered used 15 minutes after the scheduled start if we have not heard from you. If our schedule is full, we cannot guarantee the treatment can still be carried out if you are significantly late. Please inform us as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in your time being given to a drop-in client and a no-show fee may be charged (see next section).

LATE CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW FEES

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours in advance) are invoiced via email by Bokadirekt for 50% of the treatment cost.

  • No-shows (missed appointments without cancellation) are charged 100% of the booking value.

  • Unused free consultations, trials, and other free bookings are charged a 500 SEK fee.

  • An invoice fee applies.

  • Unpaid invoices may be forwarded to collections or the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden).

  • You cannot make a new booking until the invoice is paid.

WHY DO WE CHARGE FOR NO-SHOWS AND LATE CANCELLATIONS?
When you book an appointment, you reserve both a treatment room and a staff member’s time. A no-show results not only in lost income but also wasted staff wages and a missed opportunity to book another client. The fee helps cover part of this loss.

RESCHEDULING DUE TO ILLNESS

Late rescheduling due to acute illness is not charged if you notify us in time, no later than the morning of the appointment day.
However, cancellations (not rescheduling) are still treated as late cancellations, regardless of illness.
If a booking is rescheduled due to illness and later canceled, it is treated as a no-show with the applicable fee.

RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLATION BY US

If your therapist becomes unexpectedly unavailable (e.g., due to illness), we will first attempt to reassign your appointment to another therapist. If this is not possible, we will contact you as soon as we become aware of the issue to arrange a new time.
No fees apply to these changes, but no discounts or compensation are provided either.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking entirely if you have an outstanding unpaid invoice or are otherwise no longer welcome at our clinic. You will be informed in such cases.

INFORMATION FROM US

By accepting these terms, you agree that we may occasionally contact you with information we believe may interest you.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every message.

GDPR & PERSONAL DATA POLICY

Your personal data is stored using modern IT systems with high confidentiality.
We never share your data with third parties or transfer it outside the EU unless legally required or ordered by a court or authority.

According to the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), you have the right to request access to your registered data once per year and to request correction or deletion at any time. Köp

Web shop Terms

1. General Terms

Mika Marin Sthlm adheres to the Swedish Consumer Sales Act and the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act as our general terms for purchases. To place an order with us, you must be over 18 years of age.

2. Orders

Orders for Mika Marin Sthlm products can be made through our website. An order is considered confirmed once payment has been approved. The order becomes binding on our part after payment is received. Mika Marin Sthlm reserves the right to decline any purchase without specific justification and will notify the customer if an order is cancelled. All confirmed orders are considered binding for the customer. If you placed an order by mistake and paid for it, please contact us immediately. Right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made, specially produced, or personalized items, or for purchases of second-hand goods.

3. Prices

All prices include Swedish VAT (currently 25%) and are stated in SEK. Mika Marin Sthlm reserves the right to adjust prices due to VAT changes or other cost increases beyond our control. Shipping fees may apply and will be specified at checkout.

4. Payment

We accept most credit cards as well as PayPal and Klarna. Card payments are processed through a secure encrypted connection via a third-party provider.

5. Delivery

Products are normally shipped from our location in Sundbyberg. Delivery time is approximately one week, though delays may occur. If there is a significant delay, we will notify you as soon as we are aware of it. All shipments are sent via Postnord and include tracking. You will receive a tracking number. Postnord will deliver the parcel to your home or nearest service point and notify you upon arrival. In the event of an unreasonable delay, you will be given the choice to wait for the product to return to stock or receive a refund.

6. Cancelling Due to Significant Delivery Delay

If a delay occurs that exceeds what is reasonably acceptable, we will contact you. We will do our best to fulfill your order, but you have the right to cancel the order due to major delays. If you cancel, we will refund all costs paid. If we become unable to fulfill your order (e.g., if our suppliers fail us), the purchase will be automatically cancelled and refunded to the card you used. We disclaim liability for any further compensation in such cases.

7. Shipping and Shipping Guarantee

We currently use Postnord as our carrier. Shipping fees may apply and include delivery to your mailbox or nearest pickup point. All parcels are insured and trackable.

8. Right of Withdrawal

You always have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal without providing a reason. To use this right, the product must be returned unopened, sealed, and in original packaging. Mika Marin Sthlm reserves the right to refuse returns if anything is missing (e.g., instruction manual, seal). The customer bears the return cost. Returns sent COD or with postage due will not be accepted or refunded. Return shipping costs are not refunded. Contact us before sending the product back. Once received and approved, the product cost (excluding shipping) will be refunded to your card.

9. Complaints

We follow the Consumer Sales Act in case of complaints. We will replace defective or damaged products at no extra cost. If a package shows visible damage, do not accept it. File a complaint with Postnord at the pickup point and request a return to us. Write the reason for the return on the package and notify us.

10. Unclaimed Packages

Please note that pickup times have been shortened to 7 or 10 days. Unclaimed packages will not be refunded.

11. Special Terms for Second-Hand Items

For used items (e.g., wigs), no returns or open purchases are accepted. The item is sold “as-is” under Swedish law, and you waive your right to return it. The statutory 14-day withdrawal still applies, and you may cancel the purchase. If a wig is damaged during transport and the shipping company does not cover the damage, we may offer a replacement. Used items are not sent on approval or for home trials. Orders must be paid in full to reserve the item. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Wig rentals are subject to a separate agreement.

12. Returns

Returns without a valid complaint must be unopened and sealed in the original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping. Shipments with postage due or COD will not be accepted. If anything is missing (e.g., user manual), the return will not be approved. Refunds are processed after the return is approved. See section 8 and the separate Return Policy.

13. Personal Data Processing

By registering or placing an order, you consent to us storing and using your personal data to fulfill your order and provide the expected service. We store your name, contact details, personal ID number (if provided), and order history. You have the right to request your registered data once a year, and to have it corrected or erased. To do so, contact us and we will anonymize your data in our system. Purchase records must be retained for 7 years under Swedish law. By providing your personal data, you consent to future communication from us with relevant information. All data is handled in accordance with the EU GDPR directive.

14. Disclaimer

Mika Marin Sthlm is not liable for errors in content or pricing on our website or social media.

15. Disputes

Any disputes related to this agreement and all online purchases will be handled by Solna District Court (civil cases).

16. Updates to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Always ensure you are aware of the most recent version.

Code of Ethics

We shall always comply with Swedish and international laws, regulations, official decisions, and applicable standards when performing treatments, with special attention to hygiene regulations. In cases where we are a leading provider or educator in the field, we must be particularly vigilant in ensuring that all applicable rules, guidelines, and recommendations are strictly followed.

We are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service and support. Our behavior must always reflect a high degree of professionalism—both in conduct and appearance. We shall not engage in any actions, whether during working hours or in our private lives, that conflict with our ethical and moral values as practitioners or that could harm the reputation or credibility of the salon.

In our marketing and customer communications, we will avoid misleading words or claims. We operate strictly within the bounds of our own expertise and shall never exaggerate the effects of any equipment, products, or services. Instead, we provide clients with an honest and realistic view of the expected results.

To ensure clear identification, the name and title of the practitioner shall always be clearly stated in all communication with clients.

We shall not make medical diagnoses, perform treatments, or offer services that require qualifications outside our professional scope. However, we will always assess whether a client is currently receiving or in need of medical care, has any contraindications, or presents unclear conditions before initiating treatment. In case of uncertainty, we will ask the client to consult a physician to ensure the treatment is safe for them.

We document all treatments performed and manage these records in accordance with current data protection and privacy legislation. We uphold strict confidentiality regarding client matters. This confidentiality may only be waived by the client, for example, if they choose to publish a public review.

Upon request, we will present our certificates and credentials. Additionally, we commit to keeping our knowledge up to date and will participate in continuing education when necessary.

We take full responsibility for our treatments and products. In the event of a treatment error, we are always available to correct any mistakes made. If an authorized body determines that a mistake warrants compensation, it will be provided to the client without conditions, counterclaims, or delay—either by the salon or through its insurance provider. An exception is made for certain non-accredited treatments, in which case the client is informed prior to treatment of the lack of insurance coverage and signs a waiver after a reflection period. Even in such cases, we will do our utmost to repair any damage caused.

These ethical guidelines were last updated on September 13, 2023.
